Their Premier League struggles aside for now, Arsenal are making big plans for the summer.
Having done brilliantly to boost their attacking options with the likes of Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, the Gunners are said to be eyeing Benfica starlet Andrija Zivkovic.
Arsenal are among several clubs who are keeping track of the Serbian’s progress in Portugal but Arsene Wenger appears to be ready to step up the chase for Zivkovic’s signature.
Zivkovic put in another impressive display this weekend, having scored a goal in Benfica’s comprehensive 5-0 win over Maritimo and both Arsenal and Manchester United representatives are said to have been at the Estadio da Luz to watch him in action.
The Sun reports Wenger is now pushing hard to beat Red Devils to Zivkovic’s signature.
