Turkish international Oguzhan Ozyakup has caught the eye of his former club Arsenal who are linked with a summer move for the Besiktas star, according to The Sun.
The 25-year-old attacking midfielder spent four years with Arsenal’s youth setup before getting sold to Besiktas in a £400,000 deal.
Shipped off without being given a proper chance to prove his worth at the senior level in the Premier League, Ozyakup went on to make a name for himself in his homeland and is now emerging as one of the hottest properties in Turkish football.
A skilful midfielder best used as a deep-lying playmaker is seen as a natural replacement for wantaway star Mesut Ozil and is reportedly a target for Arsene Wenger who seems to be willing to present the 25-year-old with a fresh chance at the Emirates stadium.
French tactician will have to fork out a £10 million in order to tempt Besiktas into selling, it is being reported.
