The arrival of Neymar and Kylian Mbappe are expected to close the first-team door in front of Lucas Moura’s face at Paris Saint-Germain.

The Brazilian forward has struggled to cement his place in the starting line-up ever since his 2013 move from Sao Paulo and it now seems that his days at Parc des Princes are numbered.

Moura has so far made 174 Ligue 1 appearances for French giants and added 32 goals, 12 ow which were scored last season.

With 19 goals in 53 appearances across all competitions for PSG Moura is coming off from his best scoring record in France. Still, Unai Emery has made the Brazilian surplus to the requirements and is expected to offload him as early as January.

Moura has been linked with a move away from PSG for quite some time but now the Italian media are suggesting Arsenal are emerging as firm favourites to make the 24-year-old a replacement for Alexis Sanchez and/or Mesut Ozil.

Arsenal first-team stars will be free to leave Arsenal at the end of the season and Wenger wants a top-calibre player as a replacement at the Emirates.
