Spanish super club Real Madrid are in the midst of one of their worst seasons in recent history. Los Blancos are currently sitting fourth in La Liga table, which, by their standards, is devastating, especially considering the fact that they are a whopping 17 points behind their eternal rivals Barcelona.

While they have scored an impressive 55 times in 23 league games, they have also leaked 26 goals, which is 15 more than Barca, and 17 more than their City rivals Atletico Madrid.

With that in mind manager Zinedine Zidane is already reportedly looking ahead to the summer transfer window in order to bolster his squad.

Premier League giants Arsenal could hold the answer to the Madrid club’s problems, according to the Guardian, and that potential answer comes in the shape of Hector Bellerin.

The Spanish international has been widely rated as one of Europe’s top fullbacks for a few seasons now, despite his recent form diminishing slightly.

The defender has featured in all 27 of the Gunners league games this season, and has contributed two goals and an assist in an attacking sense.

As Real Madrid frequently utilise their fullbacks as forward options, Bellerin’s blistering pace and impressive crossing ability could make him an excellent addition to Real’s squad.
